Sources & acknowledgements

The digitised texts of the Sanskrit–English/German/French lexica (Monier-Williams, Apte, Böhtlingk-Roth, etc.) come from the Cologne Digital Sanskrit Dictionaries (CDSL), Universität zu Köln.
The Héritage du Sanskrit dictionary and the declension/conjugation grammatical engine are the work of Gérard Huet (sanskrit.inria.fr). The English, Thai and Chinese versions here are derivative translations built upon it.
The source lexica themselves (19th to early 20th century) are public-domain scholarship; their original authors are credited on each entry in the dictionary library.

The original parts of this site (the website, OCR-edited texts, multilingual translations) are released under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0: free to share and adapt, with attribution, non-commercially, and derivatives under the same licence.
